Hi Cyndi! thanks for the kind words. I am a bit apprehensive but I believe the decision I have made to commit to a healthier me is probably one of the best life choices I have ever made ( ranks right up there with quitting drinking three years ago). I'm really just excited about getting going. I have started the high protein pre-op diet a week early cause I'm a little nervous about getting down to the correct BMI. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and pray alot too of course. Thanks for caring. Brian

I wanted to drop you a note and thank you for the support and prayers..I am afraid and i need to get my head straight because time is running out till my surgery..My surgery is on my moms birthday she has passed away and that kind of shook me...the date..Well thank you again.........Carol

Cyndi, Thank you for all your support and prayers. I am finally glad to see that someone took the time out to update my surgery page, because when I first started looking at this website I didn't think that anybody wanted to listen to me or answer any of my stupid questions, so once again thank you for caring. Cyndi: Thank you so much for your words of support. I am just a week away now and I am on here every night reading profiles and postings. I am nervous and pray I am doing the right thing. I realize you went through some tough times, but thank God you have reached the point where you are, and still have the enthusasiam (sp)and faith to encourage the rest of us. Cindy: Thank you for all the kind words that you posted on my surgery support page. I just spent the last almost hour going over your profile, I hope I have at least half the courage you had. You have been down one serious bumpy road, but you're almost a century member. I am so excited for you. I love the picture of you in the Dale Jr shirt, he's my guy. I am going to the race at Texas Motor Speedway the DAY BEFORE my surgery. I am so excited. My boss is really working on getting me some pit passes, so maybe I'll get you an autograph too. You're words are going to stick with me for a long long time to come. You are truly an inspiration for us all, and wish you well in the road ahead, and will probably be calling on you for support.
