Orientation
Dec 07, 2010
Well, I had my bariatic orientation on Monday. The Freodert program is top notch. We were able to meet the chief surgreon and covered all the right stuff. Really similar to what I went through with the Kaiser program. Education first. Most of it was review for me. I have a meeting with the surgeon on Monday the 16th. That's when we get down to the nitty gritty. My insurance excludes any kind of weight loss surgery but I'm going to fight to have that overruled. I know my chance's are slim but I have to fight. Given my lifestyle and the reasons I gained weight in the first palce this surgery will be the perfect tool for me.

New Cast
Dec 01, 2010
Had the bandages off and the stitch's removed. Now it's 4 more weeks of a plaster cast, and then maybe I'll be able to walk again. Having a broken foot with a 4 inch screw in it really suck's!

Dr's Visit
Nov 29, 2010
Heading back to the Dr. today to have my bandages removed from my foot surgery. Probably going to have another cast on for 4-6 weeks. Being fat and not being able to walk really sucks!
