Got some issues to work out here..LOL

I was sitting up early this morning, reading the AOL news when my eyes fell on an article about a "plus size" model giving a "normal" sized model a run for her money. They were photographed side by side and quite honestly, I thought the "large" model was prettier and healthier looking. As I sat and looked at the picture, memories began to flood back to me of being told I was overweight at 125 - 140 lbs. I remember my sister-in-law asked me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding and then paired me with a morbidly obese groomsman because we were both "big" and would look better together. At that time I weighed maybe 130 lbs. The standard for what is considered thin is sick and quite honestly, I am not going to be nice to people who try to tell me that a woman or girl with a little cushion is fat. Myself and countless others didn't have a voice of love and compassion, rather, judgment and condemnation and I will not be silent any longer.
