Went to my psych eval today. 101 questions. All went well. No red flags. She said the report will be ready in about 7-10 days. I see Dr. Small tomorrow. Looking forward to this. I want to get the surgery done and on my way to loserville.  Next week I go to the nutrionist. Will up date later.

I met with Dr Small today. I really like this Dr. He was going to the Cleveland Clinic to day to meet with a Dr Phil Schauer to review research papers on a gastric sleeve. He said this is new studies coming out this month that the gastric sleeve is JUST as good as a RYN. Less complications, and this is what I'm looking for, less time is hospital and less time in surgery only 40min. I go back on the 22nd to meet with him and get the research info. I can make a choice then or come back again. iIn the meantime I am going to set an appt for the psych & nutritional drs. I have already completed some research today.
Dr Small said the studies have shown over two years that the weight loss is the same as RYN without the complications. 

So what does everyone think? Have you heard of this?

I have a consult with DR. Small on 3/28/07. Please pray for me that this is what the LORD wants for me.

I first met Dr. Small and Julie Douglass on march 9th at a information session. I knew this was the right Dr. for me. He treated you with kindness and understanding. I am going to try to get set up for an appt.
