Well, I am new to OH and I am very nervous and excited about making the decision to undergo WLS. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. Like everyone else, I'm sure, I have tried every diet and succeeded at some and failed at all. I would lose some weight, but after feeling defeated because I would mess up, I would go back to my old ways and balloon past where I started.......but enough with the sob story I am here to get help in turning my life around once and for all. I thank God for my husband who has been extremely supportive with the decision I have made. I'm looking to OH also as my support. I'm sure I can find alot of friends with stories similar to mine. I'm scheduled to attend an information session 9/01/07 and my first consultation is scheduled for 9/27/07. I know my insurance covers WLS because there are a couple of women on my job who's gone through the procedures already. So prayerfully I can be on my way to losing by year end. Keep me in your prayers and I look forward to meeting new people.
