It ain't easy!

Oct 24, 2010

My, my....it has been awhile.  I see none of my old profile survived and that is a shame because there were some things I had written in there I wish I could go back and read again.  I'll have to rewrite my story as the scale killer....

I am just shy of 6 years post op and what I know is this:  it ain't easy.  Within this last year my weight which has been stable has started to climb.  I eat about the same day in and day out so the only thing I can attribute this to is the fact I am back working and sitting nearly 10 hrs or more per day.  LACK OF EXERCISE.  It is all a balancing act and right now one wheel has come loose and I am wobbling.

So I will return here to share if I am successful at losing the 23 lbs I have gained.  Will I be successful at building muscle which weighs more than fat, but uses far more energy to sustain itself?  Will I reach my goal of walking the 60 miles in 3 days for the Komen Walk for the cure?  Well stay tuned and we'll see.
