4 more days until surgey. Hard to belive that the day is finally here. I can't wait. Have found it hard on Optifast with everyone else eating. I have had a couple of oz of pork the last couple of days. Just couldn't help it. It is so good and I am truly a meat eater.. But vow to be extra good the next few days until surgery. I will drink all my water and drink my shakes and no more food.
I can't wait till after surgery and no more appetite. That is the hardest to control, besides the mind. It really is a mind over matter thing. My mind won out on the pork issue but I did manage to keep it to a couple of oz instead of several. It have been really hard but I know after friday it will get better (I hope). Will get my mom to post friday night after my surgery for everyone. I do have a long distance angel, I will also call here to have everyone updated on my status.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it. 4 days to a new life. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!

I have a date for my surgery. It will ge on May 14/10 at Guelph General Hospital. I am so excited. Only a few more weeks and It will be done. I am working on getting before and after pics to post. Still looking for friends for support.

I saw the surgeon on Tues Mar 16/10. I am waiting for her office to call me with a surgery date. Almost there. I am so ready for this surgery. I am tired of being obese. It has been a long journey. I have lost 16 pounds since my first visit to the clinic. There is so much support to be had. I am glad I procrastinated and am having it in Canada. For those Canadians that had surgery in the states there is no support after surgery. I have a nurse, nutritionist and social worker. They will follow my progress over the next 5 yrs. How great is that. I will update when I have the date.
