I am so tired of going back and forth between sizes it's not funny.  I just want to have a closet full of wonderful clothes that I dont have to wonder if I can fit  into them.  So far I have been asking tons of questions to all the folk who have had WLS, whether it's the lapband, RNY open or the Lap and no matter what they all seem to be happy.  Finally i've decided to do what I need to do to make all this happen. I changed my insurance to AETNA because Healthkeepers said they did not cover.  I've been to the seminars for lap band and the RNY and now decided the RNY lap is the one for me.My Primary Care Dr. Mills is the bomb.  He has been very supportive and encouraging through each visit.  So far I have to have 6 months of recorded visits with my pcp, so we are now half way through.  Met with the nurse @ commonwealth surgeons in Feb.  she is trying to persuade me to choose the open RNY instead of the Lap RNY...we'll see, I'm still leaning towards the Lap, just dont wanna deal with the cutting and the scarring.  ewwwwBoy am I glad I've learned about this website, it is the best thing yet.  i havent talked to my family about my decision because they will say, you don't need that!....I know, I mentioned it to my best friend...after that, I decided everything else i would keep to myself.  So this website and all those who are a part of it are my friends and family.
