Well its been some time since I have been on this thing.  I had my surgery on 8/20/08 and I am down 100 pounds and I feel great.  I am 175 pounds and looking towards my last 25 pounds.  I hope to achieve about February 2011.  Its been a long road, but I am happy with my decision.  The band helps to control my eating and its working.  I chose this because I didnt want to go with the more invasive surgery and Im glad I went with this.  There have been times of frustration and then elation.  A real rollercoaster ride but I am in regular sized clothing (bye-bye Lane Bryant :)) and I am also getting married this year to a wonderful man.  Im so happy!
