"The nursing staff was wonderful. Everything wiith the Barix experience ran like clockwork--except one.
The only disappointment that I had is the waiting time between the insurance approval and the scheduling of my surgery--4 months. I understand that they have a big waiting list and are very busy. However, there is virtually no communication during the waiting period. I picked up the phone a few times to follow up and check on my status with the scheduler. The only news that I received is how overworked and difficult her job was and that I was essentially annoying her with my calls. Perhaps someone from Barix ought to look into the matter. Maybe they need to add another staff person to handle the workload. And, it would be worth it to call those waiting for surgery once a month to let them know where they are in the scheduleing process."
