Well I Thought the Scale was Moving...

Nov 10, 2006

Still at 174. I was really hoping to get into the 160's by Thanksgiving. I have really stepped up my exercise lately and thought for sure that would speed things up. Whatever! I am going to be patient and thankful this Thanksgiving for how far I have come. But more than anything I am thankful for the health of my family. Besides my surgery this year, my oldest daughter, Gabby had three major surgeries recently to reconstruct her hips and pelvic bone. She was in Johns Hopkins hospital for 33 days and in Baltimore at the Ronald McDonald House for three months! She came home last week and begins physical therapy to learn to walk again next week. She is a student at the Houston College of Biblical Studies and hopes to resume her classes in the Spring semester. Please keep her in your prayers! You can click "view other photos" to the left of this blog and go to the album with my kids to see pics of Gabby. She is so beautiful - inside and out!

Landmark Day!

Nov 03, 2006

My scale started moving again. Today I reached my Halloween goal (just a few days late!) of losing enough weight to be classified overweight! Goodbye forever obesity!!!
