Hi, I'm Heather. I'm a 38yr old wife and mother. I have a wonderful husband who I've been married to for 17 yrs. and four beautiful children ages 16, 9, 8, & 6. I have been over weight for most of my married life. I have tried lots of diets(like all of you) and can't seem to keep the weight off for any long period of time. I have been researching weight loss surgery for awhile and in July of 07 went to the seminar and recieved the application. It has taken me just over a year to really get up the courge to fill it out and send it in. I have never had surgery and I know the risks involved and still worry but I know that being the weight that I am and the long medical history of my family isn't good either so I am waiting now for the next step in what I hope will be a rewarding journey. I look forward to meeting you all and hearing your stories. I love this site and it has given me the courge to continue on this journey so Thank You to all that share your stories!!
