My journey has started

So I went to the seminar in Aug. 2009 and came home that night and filled out the application and mailed it the next day. About three weeks went by and I got my first phone call scheduling my first set of appointments. I was told that my insurance wants to see 6 months of weight management so if I could get in the first round of appointments by the end of Sept. that could be counted as my 1st month. I went to my first appointment on the 15th of Sept. there I had my blood drawn and took a couple of tests and sat through a welcome group. I then returned on the 18th to have my psychological consultation which went well. I will be returning on the 21st to have my medical consult and then again a week later for my physical therapy and nutritional consultations. I believe after that if all goes well I will need to have a sleep test and then just work on my 5 months of weight management classes once a month and getting use to changing some thing in my life to make the transition after surgery easier. I'm very excited about all of this but still not sure what to expect. Just taking it one day at a time. Wish me luck!
