I went to the seminar put on by Dr Coates. There was a lot of people there (maybe 110) and I was happy to get some good information. I had my heart set to have lap band but after hearing the surgeon talk, it is not for me.
I have my appointment with my PCP on Monday the 5th. I will report on whether I was successful in getting my referral for GBS. I do not anticipate a problem, considering my weight, my HBP, lower back pain and high cholesterol.
