One year out from 9th surgery

Well here we are almost one year out since I had my last revision which was February 25, 2008. It has still been a hard year. Thanks to alot of you that have sent me emails checking on me. Sorry I haven't really been on the board or to coffee nights etc.Well just to let you all know that I did have to go for a scope again 2 weeks as I am still not able to eat very much let me tell you eating soup for the past 1 1/2 has really not been fun. I am really get sick and tired of eating just soup.
As for the future I am to have surgery again on March 17, 2009 to have my gallbladder removed. Recent tests have showen that I have gall stones, kidney stones and a hernia. I know when does it end. The new specialist that I am seeing said that we would take care of the gallbladder on the 17th and he also wants to take a look at the small bowel to see if it is kinked or twisted. He said that he hopes that he is going to beable to remove the gallbladder by doing it lap, he also said he has never had to open a person up for anything. However, he said he couldn't promise that he wouldn't open me up as I have had several open surgeries in the past 1 1/2 so there is going to be alot of scar tissue. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
Anyways, I just wanted to write my update as I am moving along. I hope everyone is doing well and I hope that everyone is reaching their goals.
