"Dr. Carrasquilla is wonderful. My sister had the surgery with a different doctor and I can really see the difference. I feel that Dr. Carrasquilla and practice help you to be as normal as possible. He said from the beginning...protein first.. and does not have so many rules to follow...He is always upbeat and supportive. Very happy with the doc and the office. I went to the pre op groups, but i haven't gone to aftercare groups very much. Actually, i used this site to get alot of questions answered, and talked to the dr office staff one to one. That is more my preference. Overall...I would give Dr. Carrasquilla an A plus. and when i went for my 6 month check up he made me feel so special and so successful. I felt like he was as happy as i was with my success. Medically, I think he is more experienced with the lap than any other doctor in this area. ANd seeing my sister go through an Open procedure....I would recommend the lap much more. "
