6 week post op class

Today I had my 6 week post op class at the Weight Loss Clinic at the Ottawa Hospital.  I have to say that I feel a little better.  I learned that there are people experiencing the same things I am.  I mean obviously others have gone thru this and I knew I wasn't -alone- but today I got to sit with some others who had had surgery around the same time I did and discuss the issues we were experiencing.  At the end, we exchanged emails and a couple of them gave me this website.  I suspect I will be spending a lot of time on here.  For one, it is hard to find new people to get to know and for two, it's really nice to have someone to sound off with who has gone thru this. 

I don't know how often I will actually write a blog but we shall see.  For now, I am just looking around and getting my feet wet!
