Let's see...I am a 28-year-old mother of two lovely children. My son is eight and my daughter is four. I have been married for over nine years to my hubby who is in the Air Force. I was actually really skinny growing up and through high school. I got pregnant with my son at 19, gained 80 lbs, but actually did get all the weight back off afterwords with WW. Three years later I got pregnant with my daughter and had multiple complications that put me on bedrest at 15 weeks pregnant. I had my daughter 23 weeks and 120 lbs later! I actually managed to break both my feet (b/c of a birth defect) while on bedrest so a year after my daughter was born I had surgery on both feet...and put on more weight. The next two years involved multiple surgeries (foot surgeries, gallbladder, ablation among a few) and more weight piled on. My arthritis and foot pain got so bad this year I knew I was looking at another foot surgery. However, I knew that the surgery would only work for a matter of months if I didn't get the weight off. So that's when I started researching WLS. Now here I am 7.5 weeks post-op and I know I made the best decision of my life!!!
