I have been overweight all my life, I remember being in grade school and being aware that I was much bigger than my classmates. I wasn't obese yet and looking back at pictures of me then I think "wow, I looked pretty good", it's amazing how 75 or 100 pounds can change how you view yourself.  I am now married to the most wonderful man in the world who supports me unconditionally, he is my rock and constantly encourages me.  When we got married, we were both much smaller, I think I was only obese at that time :o)  after getting pregnant with my second son, I had a much harder time losing the baby weight. Then when my son was almost four, I had to have a pituitary tumor removed, and proceded to gain over 80 pounds. I have tried everything to lose the weight, but alas it has become very good friends with my thighs and hips and is going to need an eviction notice to leave! I hope to have RNY this summer and begin the journey of health, better lifestyle and smaller clothes!
