The Beginning

So...today, I found out that my insurance will cover my surgery.  I cannot tell you how happy I am to have this news. I contacted my surgeon and friend, Tom Sonnanstine.  I actually moved to Georgetown to be able to work with him again and get my surgery.  That isn't the only reason I came here, but it didn't hurt. The good thing about me is I am able to see how the surgeons actually work. I work in surgery with them. I am not opposed to other surgeons in the area, but I just prefer him as I have known him for a while now.  
 
  What I am trying to figure out now is which procedure to have. I have no idea which will be best for me. I think I am leaning more towards the band for a multitude of reasons. Any comments or anything out there which can help? I am open to all suggestions and comments. Thanks and can't wait to load before and after pics of me on here!!!!!
