19 months post op!!!

I just can't believe I am going on 2 years since my surgery.  This adventure has been so much more than I have ever expected.  I never dreamed that I would be where I am today.  I am wearing size 8 pants!!!!!  I don't think I have ever worn that size in all my adult years.  I am staying betwen 145-150 pounds.  My family thinks I need to gain some but that's not going to happen if I can help it.   Isn't it funny all those years they are telling me to lose weight and now they are telling me to gain weight.LOL  I have a wonderful man in my life that loves me like no one ever has.  He is wanting to get married and I think we will just not sure when yet.  We are thinking about maybe this summer.  But I will keep you guys posted as to when it actually might happen.  Marriage just scares me after having gone through one divorce.
My goal now is to stay focused on my support groups.  I have been so busy lately that I haven't been attending like I should.  I have let others dictate when I go and when I don't.  This is something I have to do for me.  My family is going to have to understand that I love them but I have to do a few things for me.  People who have never had surgery just don't understand like those in my support groups do.  Our families and friends love us but until you have been through this you just don't know.  It's not like you just have surgery and lose weight and it's all over.  Which is what I think some of my friends and family think.  I am so thankful for all the support I have gotten both on OH and in my small support groups.  You guys are all amazing people and I am so thankful you are a part of my life.
Well it' back to work and teaching my students.  Hopefully I dont' wait so long to post again.  Just happy that things are going ok for me and there have been no major complications along the way.
