I was overweight my entire life. I had RNY on 4/14/08 with Dr Trieu in Augusta. HE IS AMAZING. I did have some complications but nothing out of the norm, galstones removed. I had some problems eating but that was me too because believe it or not I wasnt fat from over eating or stress eating, etc. I just was. When Im stressed I actually dont eat and I had a lot of things happen since surgery so I wasnt eating.
I have been out of work most of this 2009 year. To be exact I started my leave 1/6 and have gone back part time then back out then back then out continuously through now. Still currently out. I kept being told it was my depression that was making me so tired, confused, memory loss, lazyness, etc. I kept making jokes that I felt narcoleptic...it even go to the point that I was starting to think I was just lazy now and had no motivation to do anything. I thought I was going to lose everything, my job, my house and my family. Thank GOD i have a wonderful girlfriend that believed in me and stuck by me. Finally I really stressed the narcolepsy possiblity because I was scared I would look as crazy as it sounded. I had a sleep study and sure enough, I am narcoleptic.
Now I just have to get my medicine under control and get the right dosage and I should be back to me, or as close as I ever will be.
Im going crazy being out of work. I LOVE my job and I LOVE the group of people I work with and miss everyone so very much. Its killing me not being there.
As of today I weigh 117 something and Im underweight now for my height by a pound. Keep in mind I probably have 8 lbs of excess skin between my upper arms, my thigs and the tire around my midsection. Its disgusting. I have gone from a DD cup to a B cup and boy, are those girls gross too now. I would love to get plastics but the cost isnt anything I'll ever be able to afford. Thankfully my girlfriend loves me as I am. The only thing I do really want done is my arms. They are very noticeable and disgust me and people can see them. Everything else I can hide and you cant tell.
