Jewish Hospital-Kenwood

"The staff was so friendly! Everyone from the nurses to the PCAs to the guys that brought my meal trays always greeted me by name and introduced themselves. When I couldn't get hold of my hubby, the PCA on duty handed me her cell phone and told me to try that. ( I couldn't call long distance from my room phone and didn't think to get a phone card) The staff really seemed to care not just about my health but about my entire well being. My room was sparkling clean, my care was great. The staff would just occasionally come to my room and ask if I needed anything on top of being in and out for dealing with my catheter, drain, and bathroom runs. Truly and outstanding Facility"

Elliott Fegelman

"Dr Fegelman is a no BS sort of fellow. He doesn't coddle you, but is very up front about why you are seeing him and what your options are. He took the time to answer every question I had without making me feel rushed or embarrassed for asking things. He never talked down to me, but treated me with respect. His staff is wonderful and do everything they can to guide you thru the decision making process, the education about the different procedures, the insurance and payment necessities, and one on one, as well as, group discussions about the procedures and how to use this tool once you are approved for it. The surgeon and staff makes sure you understand the risks associated with the procedure and their aftercare program is great. Group sessions, nutritional sessions, meetings with the nurse practitioner to make sure you stay on track and to help you reach your goals. This is an A + group all around.rnrnDr Fegelman is not a hold your hand kind of doc, but he is caring and treats you like an adult who is willing to take responsibility for themselves. I truly do not have any negative things to say about this bunch."
