My story may be similar to others...
I've been overweight my entire life and been struggling to change it my entire life.  When I was 16 and weighed 145, but my frame and build wasn't the same as everyone around me and was still considered unhealthy by my Doctor.  In HS, I played Basketball, I cheered, and was in the Power Marching Band and even boxed occasionally. But even with doing all of that in HS, my weight never went down.

I gave birth to my first child in June of 2001, a beautiful baby girl. She became my Angel in Aug of 2001.  Not knowing how to handle the situation, I was grieving and so was her father. He smoked cigarettes and would drink a beer here and there to try to sleep or get away from the pain he was feeling from the lost of our first born.  Because I never drank or smoke, I turned to food. I don't eat red meat or shell fish, so the pastas and the breads became my comfort. But a blessing came! When I went to the Dr for my check up in Sept of 2001, he informed me that I was a few weeks pregnant (imagine the mixed emotions).

So I married my High School Sweetheart in March of 2002 and gave birth to a healthy baby boy in June of 2002.
We started building ourselves back up...in each other and God. I took up boxing again in between mommy duties, school, and work.
Getting ready to spar in the ring one day.. I felt a little dizzy, went to my doctor and yes you guessed it..Pregnant!
Jan of 2004 brought a healthy baby boy looking identical to his sister. So here I was...3 children in 4 years and gained 175 pounds.

In 2005, I started taking b12 & b6 shots at myweightdocter.  I dropped 55 pounds in 5 months, I thought I would be able to be able to control the my weight on my own, but I then realized that once you stop getting those shots, it's hard to maintain it so needless to say, I gained everything back plus 20 pounds.

I watched what I was eating, started walking more, and still not seeing big results.  I got an hairline fracture in my knee and was scared of surgery, so I was getting a cortisone shot, but now I am being told I need the surgery but I have to loos weight.  My doctor had me write a journal and notice that there were days that I was not eating enough sometimes, but while I was sitting there, he suggested WLS.  It took me 5 years of research to see that my hypertension and my sleep apnea will decrease and my physically ability to run with my children and get back to my "solid" shape where I don't have to wear elastic all the time will increase and now I am at a point in my life where I know I need help and I'm ready!

Through Prayer and Support... I am hopeful!

Stay Peace.. B eZ All..
