"April 10, 2009rnrnWell, here I am, nine years later and still doing great. My surgery was January 17, 2009 and I have lost a total of 130 pounds from 274. My lowest weight was 134 which was Dr. Shina's goal for me but maintained 145 (my goal) for over seven years. When he came in to talk to me, rnhe came in with the chart already read andrnleft it at the nurses station. That impressedrnme because he spent his time talking to merninstead of reading.
