REST IN PEACE MOM, i know youre with me but i cant hug you see you smell you i miss you more than i can stand, you always said "only the good die young" your right they needed thier angel, so watch me and my newborn son i just wish he wouldve got to meet you but he will some day, I love you mom always. Butterflys are a great symbol of WLS patients. Like the caterpillar, we move slowly. We are not particularly attractive - and most of us are a bit round. Soon, we enter the cocoon stage, where we hide from everyone and everything, and EAT and SLEEP. Then, when the time is right, we emerge from the cocoon, spread our wings, and when they are dry, we fly off, seeking summer flowers. I love the analogy, and can't think of a thing that is better. So, first the butterflies in your stomach, and in your thoughts - pretty soon, you will have them in your heart, and you will be so proud of yourself, and feeling darn good, too!" Best of luck. Judy, I just wanted to take a moment to tell you, how very sorry I am for your loss. I can not even begin to imagine what your going thru. I have discussed your situation with my entire family, after reading your profile and seeing your messages on the board before your surgery, I feel like I know you, and it breaks my heart what all your having to go thru. I know there are NO words to take away your pain, but let me just say, that I know without a doubt that you now have your very own special guardian angel in heaven. Jerry will always watch over you, and give you strength when you need it. Some people go there entire life and never experience a love like you and Jerry did, I am so happy for you that you were able to experiece this. I can tell just from your profile and the amount of friends you have here that you are a truly remarkable and special lady. Please know that you are not alone, we are all here for you. I live in the Fort Worth area and I am only a phone call or email away if you ever need anything, and please know I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
