I had my RNY surgery on 3/19/08. I gained 17 lbs in the hospital! I finally lost all of that and an additional 7 as of today (10 days out). I am struggling with a few things but know it will all get better as time goes on. My surgeon requires full liquids for 20 days after surgery. I'm only half way there and I don't feel like I will make it another 10 days! I am constantly trying to figure out how I can get a piece of toast blended and through a strainer so I can drink it! I'm not comfortable sleeping because I cant' lay on my side in bed yet. I only get a few hours of sleep at a time. SO...while I am trying very hard to remain positive, I'm not doing so well, I guess - Janet
