Hit my 40 pound mark today!

Yep!  Officially have lost 30 pounds! 
  I am pretty excited! 

 

The date is ... Jan 17, 2008 and I have officially lost  25 pounds!  YEAH!
Took me 9 weeks but well worth it!

Made a post yesterday about people using "non words" in place of proper words .... example ... prolly.   And in turn I got a lot of EXTREMELY hateful private messages. 
  I have seen it time and time again on this site where people take one statement and blow it up, twist it around and make it something completely different! 

  I did not realize that we are not to post anything except band related issues.
 

 

Yep, I gained 3 pounds this week.  BUT  it is my TOM (yesterday) so I think this is not a real big deal. 
I am finally feeling NORMAL.  Swelling has gone down.  Still is aggravating when wearing my jeans, it rubs the incision areas making it sensitive or sore.
  Had dinner yesterday and I did not feel any restriction at all.  I realized it and stopped eating on my own. 
Today, I feel some tightness.  I think it is normal (for me) to feel it more in the mornings.

  I will begin my exercising this weekend.  I have the slim in 6 dvd and thought I would give it a try. 
  Let's see if I am "slim in 6"  of course, they do not say , "days, weeks, months or years" do they!?  hahah

6 days out and I am down 14 pounds.  
  I am not on pain meds today and I am actually hurting!  
Light headed, I feel like I am wearing very tight jeans!  Gas is terrible.

started some thin cream of wheat today and some pudding.  

  Think the idea of no meds is crazy so I am off to take a dose!  

   Well, Here I am.  POST OP!  I have my surgery on Nov.2nd.  My weight at the time of surgery was 250.  Yep, gained a few pounds in the waiting game!

  Post op.  Getting great care from my husband.  Bless his heart!  He tries so hard.
  I had surgery on Friday.  Today is Monday.  Still in much pain.  But it is better than yesterday. 
 No problems with eating or drinking. 
  My incision area burns so bad! 
  Won't be able to take my pain meds until later since I am the only one home with the babies.
  I weighed this morning and down 7 pounds.  I was 243.

I got a call yesterday from my doctor's office!  They have scheduled me for surgery on November 2nd!  Only 1 week away! 

  This is after I thought it was going to be sometime in December. 

  I am pretty darned excited! 

  I am setting a high goal of 30 pounds in 6 weeks!  I know that is  alot but I would still be happy with 20 pounds! 
   Why the 6 weeks??  My husband's Christmas party is December 15th.  I would just love to walk in there looking so much trimmer!  Know what I mean?

  and 30 pounds would put me at 215!  I THINK I am about a size 14 or 16 at that point.    (if I remember correctly, I was a 16 at 218)  cannot remember.
 
  But I am holding off buying that great outfit until right before the party.

  Silly thing to be excited about. 

  Will update closer to my surgery date NEXT WEEK! 

Can you believe .... I am still waiting for this flippin' surgery!?

  What now?
Well, the insurance company saw where I had some depression ... 20 YEARS ago!  And was on prozac for about 90 days.  They wanted to make sure that I was not still suffering.
  So, I did another shrink eval.  All was fine and he thought it was fine.  He backs me all the way and agreed to follow up on me after the surgery.
 
NOW..............  I am waiting for the doctor!  I guess he has done A LOT of these surgeries but always with another doctor.  He is on his own now and has to be approved by the medical folks.  Problem is, it is taking FOREVER for anything to go through.  I keep getting excuses for everything.
  I have been waiting since June .  It is now October 2nd.  that is 4 months.
  Seems a bit rediculious!
