My name is Jeanne. I've been married for 23 years to the most kind supportive man ever. We have 2 beautiful children Sarah 20 and Tom 18. I love to have fun and be with my friends and family.
Unfortunately, I've been obese since first grade. I've tried everything from fads to Weight Watchers, Medical Weight Loss Clinic to Hospital plans where you eat nasty microwave dinners and shakes. I've lost 50 pounds three times and gaining back more every time. So here I am, knocking at the big 5-0 and resigned to getting diabetes and heart disease any day now.
THEN that supportive husband I told you about and I went away for our 23rd Anniversary. Well, God, Spirit, The Goddess.....
...whoever is truly guiding my life put us in a B&B run by a beautiful angel who had a DS done several years ago. I was in a room that she doesn't generally make available to guests, but since it was our anniversary she gave us free reign to that area of the house. I saw pictures of a woman with a familiar face but a much larger body than the lovely lady cooking my breakfast. After a lot of questions, my hostess told me of her journey and Dr. Lukrzykowski. That was Sept. 17, 2011. By Sept 19 I was in the group meeting. Oct 3 I had my first consultation, Oct. 31 I had completed all the tests and paperwork. Nov. 8 my insurance ok'd my surgery.
AND Dec 6, 2011 is the Big Day!! It's been a whirlwind half a century in the making.
