My surgery date is scheduled!!! YAY!! June 30th!! Its kinda crazy this is actually going to happen to me!! Talk about being excited!! Holly Crap!!

So I got the call back from Dr. Felix's office today and my insurance approved my surgery!!!  YAY!!!!! I don't know if I could be much happier!!! Now I just have to pick a date!!! I'm thinking the end of June so I can have time to really work out and get my heart a little stronger to go under general anesthesia. YAY!!! I'm sooooooo excited!!!!

I finally got to meet Dr Felix in Fresno on Tuesday!! HES AMAZING!!!!!! I am soooo confident with him and I know he'll do a wonderful job!!! Everyone there was so professional and full of information!! His staff is so great!!!! I showed up to my appointment thinking I wanted to have the lap band done, but after sitting through a nutrition class, talking with Dr. Felix, and sitting through the seminar I want the actual gastric bypass.  I called his office the next day and told them about my choice and they were getting everything ready to send out to my insurance, now I get to play the waiting game!!! YAY!!!!! UGH!!! At least when I showed up for my appointment my BMI was a 41, so I think I might actually have a chance of my insurance approving it!! Wish me luck!!!!!
