Everything went great.  I get to start adding in fresh fruits and veggies and slowely ground meat and salad!  I got weighed- can't believe I look forward to it now.  Pre-op I started at about 257, then lost about twelve on the liquid sdiet before surgery.  Today I weighed and I'm down to 233 :)  yipee.  20lbs Gone!  

I'm finally doing  better with liquids...still not getting in all my protein shakes.  It will just take time...I'm so ready to start exercising. 

Okay, so one week post-op...Yippee right?...  But then I tried to kill myself today.  I had eaten about a tablespoon of refried beans and a cracker about 20 minutes prior...then decided that I could take the burning in my back and longer.....the burning was nothing compared to what would happen next!  So I decided I'll take some tylenol.  I've been doing really well not taking any meds so I thought...it's okay.  took a little sip of water, took one tylenol and a little sip to get it down....about a second later I knew i had messed up!!!  I thought I was going to die.  I told my husband I messed up-i messed up!  It's going to burst!  WAVES of pain radiated through out my adomen, through my back and up my shoulders.  I couldn't sit...I couldn't stand, I couldn't walk!  finally after five minutes I went to the place I could sit with little pain in my back...the toilet.  Suddenly I felt a frothy build up in my throat, OH NO I thought to myself..I'm going to vomit!  OH yeah, like a cat yakking a hair ball I vomited.  IT WAS AWEFUL!  IT HURT SO BAD...I swore I was ripping....I passed out after.  BUt at least I woke up and was fine....LESSON LEARNED.  no eating and drinking period...not even twenty minues apart!  I'm really strugglying with the drinking..Water hurts to drink more than food...I"ve tried sipping, using a straw, nothing helps it subsides quickly, I'm still learning how to drink!
