Well tomorrow will be a week out of surgery.  it has been a long week.  The day I came home from the hospital I was sick as a dog and in pain.  I dry heaved several times.  Everything makes me sick to my stomache  My nausea meds make me sick.  That dang prevacid that melts in your mouth makes me want to gag.  Not doing well w/ vitamins and calcium.  Hoping that when I go to puree it will be better.  I go to get my staples removed and my left side is so sore.  I must be a whimp b/c I don't understand how other were up and about after surgery.  This has been a struggle for me no lie.  doing better w/ my walking but I walk like a snail.  It's only a week out I know thing will improve.  Thank God for the best mother in the world  I would be in big trouble w/out her.  Well I will ttyl

So, this week I'm on my liquid diet.  YUCK!!! Monday 9/29/08 is the day.  Please pray for me b/c I'm so cared.  My mom willbe here Sunday for support and to take care of my for awhile. 

Guess what?That's right today was the day.  I got the call that i have been approved.  This is the best Bday gift.  Yesterday was my 32nd birthday & I was grateful to God to see another year.  This was the perfect gift.  Now I wait on my surgery date.  There is no stopping me now.  I'll keep you posted. 

So, I have been on this journey for some time.  I am late as ever.  This is my 1st blog.  I have my last appt w/ my PCP on Tues.  This will be 6 of my 6 months.  I had my assessment last week.  The next step is for my PCP to turn in her information to the hospital & submit to my insurance co. for approval.  I have prayed long and hard for this to happen.  Believe  me there has been some problems.  I am having problems w/ the hospital.  I seem to have several differnt nutritionist to no nothing abt me.  I have submitted paperwk  to them w/ the info requested & they ask for the same info again.  Then appts.  I have had more cancellations w/o notice.  Once I was 5 min late to an appt & they cancelled me.  However, they changed the location & I couldn't find the darn place.  None the less they didn't want to hear it.  Well, I had to go to patient affairs recently b/c again they changed an appt w/o notifying me.  I told them it was a waste of time & gas.  I have had to work around work & take off days I can't afford to lose b/c I will need them for the surgery.  i is really frustrating.  I still power through b/c I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
