Jennifer H.
So much is different in my life. I'm now terminally ill. My RYGB has not been kind to me. In early 2014, I just started dropping weight. I was back up to around 200lbs but the weight just started coming off...at a rate of about 6-7lbs a week. I ended up really unhealthy at a low weight of 104 and 00's were my size if I couldn't find a child's large. I looked like a concentration camp victim. My surgeon ordered a PICC line and TPN (total parenteral nutrition) to get me healthy enough for surgery. My surgeon ended up reversing my reversal in January 2016 and putting in a G-tube in my old stomach so that I could gain weight. I had the feeding tube a couple of months until I got up to 130lbs. After he took it out, I maintained at 130 until about 3 weeks ago...then I got to a point that I wasn't keeping anything down anymore. I lost back down to 118lbs. I had another PICC line put in and was started on TPN again. I have a stricture at my anastomosis that will only allow water consistency liquid through. I'm being worked in on the surgery schedule on Wednesday to completely reverse my RYGB. Hopefully this hell will be over soon.
