Hi! I received your email. I wanted to let you know that there is a support group in St. Louis that meets at Barnes hospital the 2nd and 4th Wed of the month. In fact there is a mtg tonight. Please call 286-2071 for directions. I won't be there tonight but you should go if it will help you. It is run by Donna Dr. Eagon's nurse and anyone that had the surgery can come no matter what surgeon performed it. Talk more later - Mandy

Hi Linda...I just want to congratulate you on a job well done. It was wonderful experiencing my surgery with you and I can't thank you enough for being there and letting me sit up with you and talk. After a few days in the hospital, the bordom was terrible. It was a pleasure to meet your Dan and I'm thankful you had the support. You are a wonderful woman and as Dr. Hess says, I can't wait to see you "get skinny." It still amazes me that I actually did it. I think I'm still in shock. Just today I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that I did it, it is permanent and now the recovery is a week down and only 5 more to go. Again, I want to thank you and I'm so glad you contacted me and we had eachother in the hospital. You made my surgery experience easier and I can't thank you enough.
