I have just spent almost two hours (I actually kinda lost track of the time...oops!) just checking out this website again!  I was surprised how much it had changed.  A friend told me about a forum on here I hever even been on - the RNY forum...pretty cool!  I usually only go onto the main board and the Virginia board - so today I took some time and just did some looking around!  The site has changed a lot for the good!  Keep up the great work OH!  I am going to go back into the August 2005 surgery board and see if I can find some of my Surgiversary Friends!

If you haven't taken the time to browse around the site - check it out!!!  There is a literally a ton of information on this site!  Take the time to read the other members profiles too and send some notes of encouragement!

Well...I got a date for my knee surgery - his first available date - January 18, 2008.  The Winter Conference ...UGH...When I got home I went to enter it on the calendar and saw that - so tomorrow morning I have to call and see if I can schedule it for the next week...which means I will be on crutches in New Orleans!  UGH!!!  I will be glad when this is all over!!!!

Thanks for the achievONE orders...keep passing the word!  Thanks so much - we really want to make this work!!

Quick update...
We have had a rough couple of weeks...first two guys I went to school with died within 4 days of each other...both heart attacks...then on December 1 - my very first friend in Winchester died in her sleep.  She was only 48 years old.  We had a pact with each other that would be a "mom" to each others children if one of us ever died.  So, I have been with her daughter Amber and son-in-law Bryan all week.  Amber is 21 and we are trying to get the estate settled, house cleaned out, etc...it's been tough...but God has been giving me the strength to be strong for Amber.  Then on Thursday morning our neighbor died of a brain anurism - he was only 50.  My son Joey and his son Jason have been best buddies since we moved here in '99.  So, needless to say- this has been a very stressful and tearful week.  It's just crazy that all of these people that I know are dying so young and so close to Christmas.

If apologize to some of my "girfriends" that have called - but I just haven't felt like talking.  I love you guys...don't give up on me.

Tomorrow, Jon and I go back to the orthopaedic surgeon.  We are hoping they will let him start therapy on his back now...he really wants to start strengthening.  I think he is already over doing - but he won't listen to me.  We will be scheduling my left knee surgery again.  Once that is done and I get back from Niagara Falls in January - I am hoping to do my plastic surgery.  I am ready to go on that...I would like to do that first...but they won't let me.

I am going to really try to keep up with this better...life has just been so hectic lately.

Oh - good news...I am finally maintaining right around 132-135 pounds.  Dr. Moazzez didn't want me lower than 130 - but I was having a hard time gaining.  So - yeehaa!!!  I just can't wait to get the "girls" lifted up to where they are supposed to be!!

Jon had his one year post-op last week and I never had time to update him. He is now down to 168 pounds and I think at goal.  He looks great!!!  His BMI is now 24.8 - normal!!  He is wearing a size 31/32 waist pants and a medium or small shirt (depending on who makes it).  I am so proud of him.  I will be updating with Christmas picturs soon.  Hopefully, I can get some done tomorrow and posted.

Other updates: We are both recovering from the motorcycle accident.  Jon is still in physical therapy for his shoulder and they have just started doing some light pt for his back.  He is back to work - just like he always did.  He makes  me  mad sometimes because he over does it!   

I am doing better some days.  I had an injection in my hip at the last orthopaedic visit...and next visit we will schedule the left knee surgery/repair.  I want to get this one done before the new year...so it  will be pretty much healed by January....when I will be going to Niagara Falls for the birth of my first grandson...Skyler Andrew.  I am soooo excited!!!

I guess I must be under a lot of stress - because I have sat here and played with this elf thing all night and laughed at every photo I have uploaded.  I haven't had the time in recent time to just sit and do something fun and stupid.  It's been fun just to sit here and play on the computer for a change!

This is  such a riot!!!  I just had to share it!!!

I finally did it!!!  I have my plastic surgery consult with Dr. Krieger on October 30th!  I am excited and nervous.  I am going to see him for my hand too...it has not healed right from accident - the scars on my little finger and ring finger are swell and are still real sore.

I go back to see the surgeon for my knee and hip on next week - we will be scheduling the knee surgery...and I don't know what we will do about the hip and back....right now I am still willing to play the waiting game...I am just happy with my heating pad for now!

The new business is moving along...still just waiting for the achieveONE truck!  The trucking company says it will be here tomorrow...if anyone has any questions or would like to order - just drop me a note: [email protected] - the website is still under construction - but after the domain is transferred on November 16 - I have been assured by the powers that be that everything is ready to go!!!  I can't wait!!

I better get my tail to bed - the achiev order is 2020 pounds - and since no one will be here tomorrow - guess who gets to move the hole thing - case by case (154 - in all!!!) - ME!!  Fun!

I don't know what happened to my old one - but I can't access it anymore!

I added some more pictures and changed my OH picture finally.  It took me a few tries, but I finally remembered how to do it!

I added a picture that Betsy took of Jon and I in one of our favorite South Padre Island t-shirts.  I can't believe it used to fit...and now we can both fit in it at the same time!  AMAZING!!!

More later...it's getting late...oh one more thing...pray for Betsy tomorrow.  She has her shoulder surgery at noon!

Wow this will be short - but I am making a promise to myself to be more dedicated in posting again!  I can't believe it has been so long since I have been on here!
