Hey everyone....Just checking in, wow time flys when your actually living your life.....I look back at my journey and it brings tears to my eyes on how far i have come....It is amazing on how much your life changes when you lose weight, people treat you differently....you change your style of dress, you gain confidence....but I never forgot the fat girl that i was. And i definatley have a soft spot in my heart for obese people....I find myself feeling so sad when i see someone who is overweight, because i know how it feels to wear those shoes.  I just wanna tell them my story in hopes that will inspire them to do something to lose weight also.  Well its been 22 months since i have had my surgery, and I have stopped losing weight, however i am PROUD to say that I have maintained my weight of 144 lbs. I have not gained, and I DO NOT plan on it!!! I currently would like to lose 14 more lbs to get down to 130 lbs. so i am calorie counting and going to the gym 5 days per week.....so I am confident that i will make it happen!!!!!!! Well i wish everyone the BEST, and will be back soon!!!!!!!!

So tommorow is my year surgiversary and as of today I have lost 97 lbs.....I was aiming for 100 lbs, but hey 97 is close enough!!!! I feel absolutley awesome....I want to lose about 25 lbs more!!! So im hoping I can accomplish this within the next few months..... Overall I am soooooo happy with my decision and the results!!!! Its so wierd and amazing how different the world treats you when you are smaller....Men are so much more attentive and polite...they hold doors for you, they stare at you when you walk by....When you get pulled over by the cops, they say im just gonna give you a warning...but 100 lbs ago they would have gave my fat ass a ticket.....lol!!! I hate to sound bitter but its the truth!!! Its kinda sick how people look down upon over weight people....and being able to see it from both sides, makes you aware of the discrimination that is there..... I will never treat a over weight person any different!!!!  I would recommend this surgery to ANYONE!!!!! My life has changed so much over the past year....its incredible really!!!! In February I took a trip to NYC, just me and my girls...and while I was there I met a guy who lives in Brooklyn....and we have been dating ever since!!!! So im doing the long distance relationship thing!!!! Things are going Great!!! He is a really great guy!!! Ive never done the whole long distance thing, but so far so good!!! Wish me luck!!!! 8 months out 80 lbs down!!! I love this surgery.....Its amazing! Its far from easy because there is a lot you have to change about yourself......Especially if you wanna KEEP the weight off! My eating habits have changed so much! I no longer eat JUNK FOOD....I mean if I have a craving around my period...those 100 cal snack packs come in handy!!! AND they are very satisfying! Since ive had this surgery I SWEAR....healthier foods taste so much better! Ive never liked veggies...and now I dont mind eating them, BETTER FOODS MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER with this surgery!!! Im so thankful to have done this and Im very focused on continuing eating this way for the rest of my life! ~ I hope everyone is doing great~~~~ TTYL

So on Dec. 5 I was 7 months out....and im down 74 lbs! Things are going good!! Im so happy with my results and Im so eager to keep losing and get where I wanna be. I would love to lose about 45-50 more pounds by my surgiversary date!! Which is in about 4 1/2 months....hopefully I can do it! Wish me luck.... Ok so last night....i was getting ready for bed, and all of the sudden, I got this strange feeling....It sort of felt like I didnt eat anything all day and I felt shaky....So I made myself a bowl of cereal....well the feeling didnt go away....For dinner earlier that day, I had some pasta...and I drank some iced tea....Could this have been a dumping episode??? The Iced tea was rather sweet, and I usually tolerate sugar in foods, however when its a drink with sugar I get a sick feeling.....This kind of scared me because,  the feeling made me feel weak, and I just had to lay down and go to sleep....STRANGE...Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanx

Hello all.....I wanna wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving   So finally after a few weeks of no weight loss, my scale started moving again....YAYYYYYYYY......Im sure many of us experience stalls, especially the further out you get.....Im feeling great....Just wanted to give a lil update....Wishing everyone the best, and hope to hear from you all=)

I am still a work in progress, but Im sooo happy with the results I have, and am looking foward to losing some more!!!!

So on the 5th I will be 6 months post op!! Ive lost 65 lbs thus far. Ive only lost 4 lbs in this past month, which is not a lot, but atleast im not gaining, so its better than nothing! I currently weigh 189 ive got about 64 lbs left to get to my goal of 125....i would even be happy at 130...Im hoping that I can be to my goal at my year surgiversary date!! That would be so GREAT!! Ive noticed that Im kind of a slower loser, which is ok by me, I just worry sometimes that the surgery stopped working, but I can see from reading some of my friends pages that it happens to everyone, its just the weight loss gets slower the further you get out! Im so happy with my progress and my life!!! I hope all of you guys are doing well, and I hope to hear from you all soon!!! Ill post some pics in a few mins!!!! =)

So today im exactly 5 months out.....feeling FABULOUS!!! Im down exactly 61 lbs...i made it to ONEDERLAND, and that felt AWESOME  My hairloss has stopped...THANK GOD!!! I chopped my hair off....well not all of it, but I got a shorter haircut and it really helped with the hairloss!!! Im down to a size 13/14.....almost ready for size 12....I love shopping!!! Although everything ive been buying isnt gonna fit for long....thats what E BAY is for....ill just sell my clothes i cant fit....or give them away!!! I have been experiencing a lot of stalls, and it is very discouraging....BUT it happens and in 5 months ive lost 61 lbs, so that is a average of about 12 lbs a month.....so if i keep up at that rate i will be down approx 120 lbs at my year surgiversary....which would leave me at about 130, and that would be A OK with me=) I bought myself a eliptical and I LOVE IT....I try and make time for it every single day, atleast 10 mins.... and I feel great after working out!!! Im so happy that I had this surgery....I have no regrets at all!!! Hope all my friends out there are doing well and I hope to hear from you guys soon!!!! Take care everyone!!!!
