2/12/09 - I'm home.

I'm back home after surgery yesterday.  All went well but I did end up having to stay overnight.  I did get a private room in the op tower.  My dh got his own hospital bed next to me as well.  So that was good. Everyone was good to me.  I didn't have any negative experiences with anyone.  Dr. Bilton was excellent. It has been more painful than I anticipated, but I'm trying to be strong.  The Lortab makes me so sleepy that I hate to take it.  I'm having a lot of pain that seems to be deep in the tissue and not really at the incision sites.  Also having a lot of gas pain in my shoulders.  I'm hoping this gets better soon.  Just wanted to update really quickly.  Not really feeling up to writing a full account right now, but will once I'm feeling better in the next few days, I hope.  Thanks so much for all thoughts and/or prayers.
