Feeling in Control
It's been 5 weeks and I'm down 28.5 lbs! It's funny I was thinking the other day when you do other diets you write in your journal what you eat, so you don't eat too much, Now I feel like I write in my food journal so that I eat enough@! Sometimes it's hard to get all the fluids in still, but most days I do.
I'm supposed to be eating "soft" foods now, but I'm still eating mostly soups, pudding and yogurt with the Whey protein to get the protein grams in. Tried a few tortellini tonight, but everything seems to feel stuck in my esophagus, or I vomit. But the weight is coming off and I'm wearing some clothes that I haven't worn in a while YEah!!!

It's been 2 weeks and I can't believe how much better I feel@! It was actually a little rouger than I had anticipated but after the first week, I feel so much better! For the first time I actually can't wait to get on the scale tomorrow at my 2 week follow up appt. with Dr. Pupkova! Another week of Full liquids and than onto puree!!
Desperate to lose
Jul 30, 2007
I've been doing the yo-yo diet thing for too many years now! I've lost 50 lbs ~gained back more, lost 40 lbs ~gained back more. Now I'm at the heaviest I've ever been (including 9 months pregnant!) and can't wait to get the weight off. My biggest problem seems to be keeping the weight off so I'm hoping this will work.
I have 2 young girls and I just want to have the energy to keep up and be a good mom!
