Jesse - Congratulations. It feels good getting back into the swing of things.

Hi Jesse, glad you're feeling better and congrats on your weight loss! Suggestions for soft foods: scrambled egg/cheese, cream of wheat, applesauce, instant mashed potatoes made with chicken broth, creamed soups, SF instant puddings, Taco Bell pintos/cheese blenderized. These are a few of the things that my Dr. recommended for the first couple of weeks post-op. Later you won't want to be eating the cream of wheat and mashed potatoes, too many carbs. At this point you just need something of substance, you should always follow your own Dr's rules, they are all different. I hope this is a little help and I'm hoping that everything goes smoothely for you, I think you're off to a great start! BIGGHUGGZZZZ PS, don't forget all that H2O!!

Hi Jesse, The first 2-4 weeks can be tough, but it does get better! I think that if you walk and get in enough protein and water, you will recover faster. Best of luck to you.
