Hey Jodie, just wanted to tell ya that I am in agreement w/you that God is good ALL THE TIME & I too believe that this is the answer that he has given me for WL. I have prayed & believed for years for freedom from MO & a little over a year ago God led me to begin researching & persueing this. I am pre-op awaiting ins approval & then I believe I will be joining you & the many others on the losing side. And you know what, I believe that w/each pound I lose it will be a black eye for the Devil because it will show him once again that Jesus is Lord in my life in every area. Just wanted to say way to go & tell ya that I am standing w/ya on this one.

God is good all the time!!! All the time God is good!!! I give much Praise and Honor to the Lord Almighty. He has been so good to me. I am home today, 8/1/03 after having Lap RNY on Wednesday, 7/30/03. I'm a little sore but I only used my pain pump 3 times. I want to take this time to Thank All of You for your prayers and well wishes. It really ment a lot to me to log on tonight and see messages I received while in the hospital. To Dr. Bour, Katie, Kim, Kim, of course Dr. Spearman and Trenny- Thank you for the support your office gave me prior to my surgery. I know that Post-op will be twice as good because I'll be loosing. You guys are truly a Blessing and I will forever spread the word about how you made a difference in my life. Thanks again! Yvonne - You are the prettiest, sweetest person. My family thought it was so sweet of you to come by and check on my. You know I will be checking on you as well. Just keep praying, stay focused and remember your surgery is between you and God. He's already had His hand in the process. If He will bring you to it, He will bring you through it. Girl I know, I'm a living witness. Take care! Love ya!

Jodie, Burn up those hospital hallways girl!! Congrats! As you take your journey to the inner, and thinner you, remember: The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 For I am the LORD, you God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Hi, just wanted to post a message on how Jodie's doing. She got out of surgey about 4:30 yesterday and today was up and walking around the halls of the hospital. If you have the time, please send some well wishes her way, I know she will love it.

Jodie, well today the day you begin your new beginning to a new you. I saw a verse yesterday that really stood out to me and how God is in control. "For I know the plans I have for you," said the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. You will be in my prayers and thoughs today as you start this journel. My will begin Sept 2.
