Update!

Dec 11, 2011

Hey yall! I thought I'd stop in and blog a bit about what's new and such.. So it's been approximately 3+ months since my surgery at the end of August, and so far so good! I've lost a total of approximately 70lbs where I started at like 336lbs I'm down to 262lbs give or take now. My goal is to be at 145lbs but I am tall too so we shall see. I'm now eating normal foods and I stick to the same stuff on a daily basis for the most part. I don't really eat anything fried, fattening or oily. If I absolutely must go to a drive thru for food cause I have no other choice then I always opt for a chicken ceasar salad or something that's low in fat and somewhat healthy for you but I don't usually go to those. So yeah my diet is mainly chicken, salads, rice and beans etc. I don't eat a lot and I'm rarely ever hungry. I haven't started hitting the gym yet so I know I should, I don't wanna lose muscle. I drink only water besides that I drink decaf tea on occasion. I haven't touched alcohol in forever or anything with caffeine in it. I have had a decaf coffee before and that was pretty good. So yeah I mean so far everything is going great I am sooooo beyond thankful to the staff and my doctor at Brigham and Women's Hospital. This procedure has changed my life dramatically already and I'm only 3 months out. I'm very thankful to God too for blessing me with the oppurtunity to be able to have had this surgery done. To anyone whos contemplating it, don't just do it! You've got everything to lose and so much to gain! :)))))))))))))))))
