Glad to be back

Glad to be back on Obesity Help. In any weight loss journey you must have some support along the way. I am back after over 3yrs. I had Lap band in June of 2007 and even though it did bring me from 321 pounds to 199 pounds I have reached a point that it does not work for me anymore due to reflux and being miserable. So many months of fills and unfills...I am tired. Many things have happened to me this year that have made me think about what I want for me. I am a nurse working in long term care for the past 20yrs. I have worked at one nursing home since I became a nurse. I am over the infection control, staff development and education department at my nursing home. I am married (22yrs) and have 3 children 21, 18 and 13. My sweet Daddy had a stroke in March of this year and passed away on August 1st. This was the most devistating thing that has ever happened to me. I have comforted families for years when they lost loved ones but until I lost my Daddy I didn't have a clue of what they were going through. One thing that I have realized that we leave this world with nothing but our personal salvation and nothing else. Material things mean nothing. I want to get my life back on track and reach my goals. I want to reach my dream of knowing what it feels like to not have all this weight dragging me down and also want to further my education from and LPN to BSN. Hope to meet many new friends on here and get the support I need to reach my weight loss goals. I am considering a revision to VSG. I hope to gather as much information as I can to make this goal.
