I am so excited yesterday (3-4-08) I called Amy at my surgeons office to see if they had heard from the insurance. She was on another line so I just left a message. I have become very impatience due to the fact I have Aetna EPO and Dr LeBlanc is out of network for me and we have been working on this since Sept. . SO even with all the hoops I had to jump thru I was dealing with a out of newwork Dr which made everything harder. I decided the heck with it I was going right to the source so I called Aetna. The rep was nice and told me could I hold because there was a lot of stuff to read about this issue. As I am on hold I figured they have denied me. Well she came back and told me I was APPROVED Feb 28 and I had a surgery date of March 17. I almost died. When I got off of the phone I cried because I had struggled to get approval and one of my hardest battles was over. Then I called all my family members and friends that counted and told them they are all thrilled. Amy (from Dr LeBlanc's office) called me back and she did not know it had been approved yet and told me the surgery date was given to the ins. because they required one. So I am not sure what my surgery date is but I know I WILL have the surgery. I am so ready. I have bought all my vitamins from Bariatric Advantage and I had ordered a lot of protien samples. SO I am ready. After listening to eveyone on here about losing or changing taste buds last night I ordered Unjury unflavored protein. I can't wait to join all the LOSERS. Thanks for listening.
