You're probably going to have a consultation with a psych., most surgeons require that. In your conversation with them, you'll have to establish credibility, in that you are past those problems.That you now have a healthy outlook regarding eating.My surgeon required a long list of tests be done.Getting a good result back on those tests indicated to him I was a good canidate for weight loss surgery.He takes into consideration your BMI and weight, your cormidities(ailments), whether you smoke, attitude.Don't give up.You have a good chance of having surgery.
