I got my first sonogram today and with no questions, It's a girl!!! How sweet it is to see your little space invader turn into something more. There she was waving, flipping around, twirling her feet, and sucking her thumb... My little lady bug. If it wasn't for the shouts of happiness from my 7 y/o daughter (Madison) when she heard "girl", I would have cried...  
So the journey begins. The clothes shopping, the crib lurking, the comforter picking and finally the nesting. Which began 2mos ago!   This is the amazing part of pregnancy that most mothers tell us about. I  just simply forgot...

Why am I still losing weight?! I am 15 wks now and am still losing weight! I havegone from 179 down to 170 (and that was with my clothes on)! I have a dr.'s visit scheduled for this wednesday, but if any of you have any suggestions, please do share!


I'm worried about my Little Space Invader!

I went to the doctor for my first checkup and I finally heard the little heartbeat of my body’s space invader! How exciting it was to know that I’m really carrying another little alien!!!  

It was so funny, so my doctor’s doing my full pap smear, right?  She begins to check my cervix to see how far along I am, so she lubes up her two fingers and insert them into my “Va-J-J” and then her phone rings. The doctors says to me “Ugh! I hate to do this but it may be my child and of course, it is!” I’m thinking WTF is really going on here?!?!?!?!?!   She says “…Helloooo, Nicole I’m doing an exam right now, I told you to call me at 1 not 12:30! What is it?!! ………… Well, I have my other hand up someone right now, it’ll have to wait!”  She hangs up the phone and goes back into doctor mode!  

You just gotta love government (Parkland) health care!  
This Sunday afternoon I got around to telling my 7year old that she was going to be a big sister and do you know what that little girl had the nerve to say? "Momma, I don't believe you cause you don't like kids!"  After about 20mins. of giggling with disbelief, she finally came around to saying "I hope it's a girl or a boy..."

I hope you guys can see this. But here's my update!

Has it been that long since my last post? I'm so ashamed of myself.

Well as you can tell I'm now a member of the 100 club! 103lbs down! It's not coming off as fast as I would like for it to, but it is still leaving. I think the most of what is left to lose is thighs and extra baggage from my belly.

I'm trying to stay active, I recently joined a flag football team along with some ladies that I went to high school with. We are having a blast, the weight is melting off. But of course there's always a kink in something. I got a bit of news a few days after my first game and had to leave the league. But have continued my walking and stretching schedule.

I mentioned in the last paragraph that I received a bit of news that pushed me out of my flag football league, I guess you're wondering what it is. I'm pregnant you guys! I'm only a few weeks, but you know how it is when that cycle doesn't come, you buy quite a few tests to check out the situation. So after the 3rd test, I figured that all 3 couldn't be wrong. I will report to you guys how every thing's going once I get more details.

You guys, continue to keep me in your prayers!

It's been a while since I've spilled my guts to you all in here. I have been through some things in the past couple of months.

I'm almost a member of the century club now! 5 more lbs. to go and I'm there. 43lbs away from goal! That's some of my good news.

You all know the drama I had at my job, right? Well, they finally realized that they had to let me go, cause I wasn't going to quit! Yes, yes, yes, I lost my job in January. But I'm alright, they did however, give me a one months severence package. They did not have to do that and I am VERY grateful to them for looking out for me that way. No bills got disconnected, mortgage got paid. So I TRULY appreciate them for that.

I start my new job on Monday, March 17, I hope I can truly offer as much of my work ethic that I tried to display at the last place. However, this place has just as many women there and we all know that working with a bunch of catty women can sometimes make EXTRA problems.

Don't hate on me for saying it! It's true... SOME women create drama for no reason what-so-ever.

My daughter turned 7 last month, I'm still waiting to give her her b'day gift. I got her a puppy but she was born only one week before her birthday. So we have to wait for a couple of more weeks to bring her home. Madison knows nothing of her, so Nicole, don't ruin it!

 I have a new beau in my life. He's great! You know how you just meet yourself and fall? That's him and I. It's new, though. No promises and absolutely NO EXPECTATIONS!!!!

I'm eating e'erthing that don't eat me first, but only in small portions. I mean small. When will I learn to stop eating out?! I have over 6 take out containers in my fridge!!! That's outrageously ridiculous!!! I think of something that sounds good to eat and will almost run down my momma trying to get it. Hopefully, I'm not the only one going through this. HELP A SISTAH OUT!!!!!! How do I change this habit?

 But trust meh! I look gooder than a MOFO!!!!

It feels so good to report to you all that I've finally arrived! I made it to ONEderland. On January 3, 2008, 9:23am, it happened. I got on the scale, as I periodically do, and it hit the jackpot!!!!! drumroll please.... 199.8!!!! I did it, I did it, I did it!!!!

I cried, called my BFF Nicole and we celebrated over the phone. I'm one phyne, phoxxy momma!!!! Crowned Diva is here!!!! As I turned around, looking at myself in my full length mirror, I hear the rhythm and the words to the famous song sang by none other than Miss Diana Ross herself, "... I'm coming out, I want the world to know, I've got to let it show!!!!!!!!!!"

Sing with me people, can't you hear it?! "I'm comin', comin' OUT!!!!!!!"

I'm beginning to see a difference in myself that maybe others can or cannot see. I like who I am becoming, because I have come to love and cherish the woman that I used to be. Sure she's made quite a few mistakes, many I still make today. But she was strong, self willed, and always available to love me. 

Here are a few pictures of the two of us together, from the beginning to today. We now embrace each other along this path that we call life. 

Today, we've both realized that she was me and that I am her. We're both sexy, self- assured, independent, and strong. The both of us came together as one- unified into me- Michelle your newest "CROWNED DIVA" on the block!

How y'all been dering? I've been great still looking for a new job. 

I'm dating again, I think. I'm not so sure about that. I kinda like living the single life. But I really like this dude, too. I saw my BFF Nicole this weekend, looking like a hottie, hot, hottie!!! 

I've lost some weight and have gained it back and have lost it again. I think I'm stresing my self out over small things.

Life sometimes has a way of getting in the way.

I've gotta go now, before I start talking to much.
