Karen, thanks a lot for your encouragement. I read your profile and we are going through all the same feelings even right up to your last minute cold!! I got sick last weekend and am just now getting over it... it drained all the energy out of me! Well, I will definitely be thinking of you and hoping you have a speedy recovery! Thank you for your good information on your profile. It's good to know those things. Take care and best wishes always, kristi

Karen; I am glad you wrote. I am just 6 weeks out and I am sure when the time comes to where I can eat more I still probably will eat less than I can eat. I am so happy with where I am and the activity level I am at right now that I can see that I dont really need to worry about that far ahead after about the 4th month I will be able to go further and faster than I can right now and will probably be even more active than that by then and I will not be any more interested in eating then either. I do like variety in my food as well as my life dont get me wrong but I still am going to be careful not to go over board. Hang in there and I am sure you will do just great.. Karen, You and I have alot in common, I am a 31 year old mother of two boys ages 12 and 5. I am having WLS on Oct 7th. I saw where you needed an angel, well I will be your angel, I'm not real sure what to do, but I will if you'd like. I don't have an angel yet either, but don't know if we could be each others angel or not... or even if you'd be interested in being mine... anyway get back w/ me and maybe we can go through this together...my e-mail is [email protected]

Good Morning Karen, I have the book that you are looking for for good forms of protein. It is called "The Protein Power LifePlan Gram Counter" by Micheal R. Eades. You can find it at www.amazon.com. I love this book and it works well for me. I also use www.fitday.com to enter all that I eat. Amazingly I am eating 160-180 grams of protein every day, even as a preop. Protein builds muscle and burns fat so it is a good thing! I hope that this helps! Have a great day!
