Where to begin, I am 50 yrs. old married, one daughter & son-in-law. I am one of seven children, my Dad passed away in July 2004. I have been heavy most of my life, like a teeter totter with the weight over the past 15 years. I lose I gain, try every diet known to man some sucessful most others not. I finally realized that if I do not get my act together I won't be around to much longer. Several health problems run in our family ( heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer) so I decided to look into Gastric Bypass as an option for me. I am workng now on my consults with only the Cardiac consult left. I am hoping to have everything finished by the end of March so I then can see Dr. Barba and get a surgery date. I will write more after my appointment with Cardiologist.
