BCBS has approved everinthing and the surgery date has been scheduled............. August 28th! The process was very easy (suprisingly). I have to go to my second meeting/class with the nutritionist next week and go to the hospital for all of the pre-surgery testing (blood work, etc.).
I did not expect the process to go quite this smoothly. I owe a lot to ny general practitioner's office and the sugeon's staff. They knew exactly what my insurance required and they put it in checklist firm so all I had to do was check everything off as soon as it was completed and turned in. The surgeon's staff is truly remarkable.
I can't wait for the surgery to be over with and the losing to begin!
