Where to begin... up to 6th grade I was a normal sized little girl, then somehow I started gaining weight and nothing short of tons of exercise would get it under control.  I've always been active and would play sports during HS and each season during basketball I'd drop a lot of weight only to gain it all back again in the summer.  Mostly i remembered being around 165 and thought that was fat!  God I wish I was that size again!  I've never felt comfortable in my own skin and always thought, if I could just lose the weight I’d be happy.  

In college I remember weighing around 195.  I got married right out of college and proceeded to gain about 80 pounds in about 2 years.  Then we got divorced (not due to my weight, at least I don't think so), and I lost about 60 pounds mostly  due to stress and not eating.  I vowed never to get that heavy again and even tossed out my clothes.  However, here I am 4 1/2  years later and struggling to get my weight down.  My heaviest was at about 275 pounds. I'm currently around 259 pounds (I’m 5'7 1/2).  I'm embarrassed to see old friends and family members because of my weight.  I would love to be able to one day walk into a normal store like Ann Taylor or Banana Republic or borrow from my friends and know their clothes would fit!

My Personal Goals:
Wear a size 7/8 or 9/10 jeans comfortably - Bought a size 6 from Abercrombie 5/29/08!!
Not have my thighs rub together when wearing a skirt!   - Accomplished!
Be able to sit in on the airplane seats comfortably, cross my legs AND still be able to put the tray table down! Accomplished!
Reach Onederland by my 30th birthday on Dec 13, 2007 - Accomplished! (goal was met in November)
Wear a bikini with confidence Accomplished! Wore bikini on my Puerto Rico trip end of Feb, 08
Look at myself in photos and not cringe Accomplished! I'm amazed by my transformation!
Stop comparing the size of my thighs to other people = Ok, I don't think i'll ever stop doing this!
Cross my legs comfortably Accomplished!
Not be embarrassed by how much I weight Accomplished!
Actually tell the truth on my drivers license about my weightAccomplished! However, I weigh 35 pounds less then what my license says.  Think time to get a new one!
Be able to wear cuter clothes Accomplished! I can shop ANYWHERE!!
Not cut out the tags of my clothes for fear of someone seeing my size. Accomplished! I'm proud of the size 6 and 8 that i wear.  I bought size SMALL shirt from Victoria Secret and it fits!
Reach my goal weight of 150 pounds Accomplished! I'm BELOW my goal weight.  137 - 11/16/08
