What's gone on lately ...

Well, a LOT ... last January I married my high school sweetheart, Rex. He was my first boyfriend and he will be my last husband,lol. Very true!!
Last month my daughter Lindsey gave birth to a bouncing baby boy and made me an official "Nana" at 43 yrs. young!! I spent three weeks in California with her after the birth of our lil' Ishaiah.
Being almost three years out after RNY I can honestly say not only did this surgery SAVE MY LIFE, it changed my life totally!! I can now walk without being winded after 20 ft., shop til' I drop and ENJOY it, wear clothes that actually don't look like a tent (and wear jeans WITHOUT elastic waistbands!! This one was HUGE for me) ... mostly, I can finally feel on the outside the way I always have always felt on the inside.
In Feb. of 07' I had a lower belt lipectomy removing 12 lbs. of excess skin and a breast mastoplexy which means my boobs aren't best friends with my knees anymore,lol.
For all of you considering this surgery, I wish you the very best. And believe me, the best is yet to come!!
